NEW ORLEANS, March 23, 2022

Delegates from VIPR attended the event, which attracted attendees from across the spectrum of brokers, underwriters, managers, executives and technologists.

These industry experts gathered in New Orleans to gain insights on the disruption and transformation taking place in the program and binding insurance marketplace.

The keynote speech highlighted the evolving and increasingly complex cyber threat that businesses of all sizes are facing. Over the course of the Covid-19 pandemic, the cyber risk landscape has shifted significantly; greater numbers of people working remotely has served to increase the threat to businesses and the opportunities for cybercriminals to exploit weakness in a hyperconnected digital world, attendees heard.

Other sessions at the conference covered topics such as how MGAs have embraced digitalisation, and how digital platforms are changing the way that brokers work with their clients.

The VIPR team’s discussions with delegates at the event highlighted the opportunity that digital platforms provide a streamline distribution and enhance customer experience. And it also underlined the importance of having a seamless, secure ecosystem.
As well as providing peace of mind, secure and integrated ecosystems can deliver data-driven insights that help customers to better understand their business.

“As a Product Lead at VIPR, attending the WSIA was a great opportunity for me to meet the relevant stakeholders within the Binding & Program market and really understand where we can best add value,” said Sebastian Prosser, Product Lead at VIPR.

“Having showcased our solutions at the event, it was great to see such positivity, interest and enthusiasm in VIPR’s offerings and I am thoroughly looking forward to being part of our continued expansion into the US,” he added.

Next year’s WSIA Insurtech conference will be held April 2–5 in Nashville, TN.
