Getting to Know Rosanna Concadoro
With an Italian heritage that instilled a love for family gatherings and food, Rosanna is not your average Business Analyst. She enjoys hiking on weekends, stepping out of bustling London for peaceful strolls in nature. But, when it comes to work, she is all in.
Rosanna has been a Business Analyst with VIPR for the past 12 months, helping customers like AmTrust and Riverstone implement their workflows within the Intarga platform. Before joining us, she worked at a London based firm as a Business Analyst graduate. However, her passion for details and customer-facing roles led her to VIPR, where she found a supportive delivery team, a vibrant culture, and an environment that never gets boring.
The Importance of VIPR's Intarga
Rosanna spends a considerable part of her day solving challenges for our customers, tailoring Intarga to meet their unique requirements, and helping them onboard their Third-Party Administrators (TPAs), coverholders, and brokers. She believes that the source of truth for some customers lies in synchronising the governance and due diligence of their organisation, an area where Intarga truly shines.
When asked about the typical challenges she helps the market and customers solve, Rosanna explains, "It can be challenging when it comes to signing off the workflows, making sure we have considered all options for the customer and ensuring we have implemented everything they may need for their long-term goals."
A Day in the Life of a Business Analyst at VIPR
At VIPR, no two days are alike. For Rosanna, the day begins with a team huddle, followed by customer meetings three days a week. Onboarding new customers involves proving out a 'source of truth' scenario, defining their business processes, and automating it using the Intarga platform.
Rosanna interacts with a variety of client profiles, including project teams, business analysts, and project managers, ensuring VIPR ticks all the boxes for requirements. Through the lens of the customer Project Manager, Rosanna takes into consideration a number of reviews from several departments, such as Underwriting, Claims, Finance, Legal, and Risk.
Change Requests and their Impact
A significant part of Rosanna's role involves managing change requests, which are alterations to the original requirements. The impact and execution time of these changes vary depending on their scope.
Solving Problems for Customers
One of the primary issues Rosanna encounters with customers, whether they're brokers, carriers, or MGAs, is that they may not always know what business process they need until they start exploring it with VIPR. That's where Intarga comes in, helping to define what they need to resolve by onboarding coverholders, brokers, and MGAs.
"We upload the binder into Intarga, and then sync it across to Intrali, after which the customer can validate their bordereaux against the binder", says Rosanna.
Finally, Rosanna emphasises the importance of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in her work. During UAT the testing team will test the workflows created in Intarga, ensuring they are functioning as intended, offering another layer of quality control in the VIPR process.
Rosanna Concadoro is a prime example of the talent that thrives at VIPR, helping to make our Intarga product a success with our customers. If you would like more information on how our customers are utilising VIPRs Intarga, Book a Demo.
